Replica VOC AMSTERDAM
After complication of the construction of this historical replica, Frans Boetes sailed this vessel, the VOC replica AMSTERDAM for the first time in her history on the North Sea, the famous cold waters in the channel between England and the Netherlands. It was sponsored by Alcatel. The AMSTERDAM is a replica of the 18th Century Dutch VOC East Indian-Man. During her trip, she moored for a week in The Hague the Netherlands.
