The SKODA Canon was made at SKODA WERKE AKT-GES in Pilsen, Poland, for the Germans. Frans Boetes found and restored the Canon in 1993, in the Netherlands. Two SKODA Canons were found in German Bunkers on an island in North Holland as part of the former Nazi Atlantikwall Defense System. This particular Canon was delivered to the German WEHRMACHT Abnahme Amt. on May 22, 1918.
