USS Mohawk CG (WPG-78)
Part of the USS Mohawk Memorial Museum in Key West, Florida, USA, a rescued and fully restored 1934 US Coast Guard vessel, and last remaining WWII Convoy Escort Patrol Ship and Sub Chaser, Memorial to the Battle of the Atlantic.
Explosives are detonated on the USS Mohawk to sink the ship into the Gulf of Mexico on Monday, July 2, 2012. The decommissioned U.S. Coast Guard cutter was sunk 27 miles off of Fort Myers Beach to serve as an artificial reef.
